Eaton Detroit TrueTrac limited-slip differential for the GM 8.875 in. axle with 30-spline gears, ratios of 3.73 and higher. All Eaton differentials for GM 8.5 in. and 8.6 in. axles require special bearings: axles with small bearing bores (2.89 in. race O.D.), typically pre-1999, need bearing LM102949 and race LM102911; axles with large bearing bores (3.06 in. race O.D.), typically 1999 to present, need bearing LM603049 and race LM603012.
