Description:

The Monroe® Magnum® Front Suspension Shock Absorber for class 6-8 vehicles is the first gas-charged, large-bore shock designed for air spring and taper leaf suspensions. The nitrogen gas charge provides the fast response essential for today's heavy-duty truck suspension systems.

Built to take on high mileage and severe use, the Magnum is purpose-built for class 6-8 trucks and buses. Its 10-stage valving, nitrogen gas charge, and heavy-duty construction deliver exceptional handling and long service life even under the most demanding conditions.

  • FOR HARDWORKING COMMERCIAL VEHICLES: Designed to handle the demands of high mileage and severe use class 6-8 trucks and buses.
  • CONSISTENT RIDE: All-weather fluid with special additives handles extreme temperatures; larger 2-3/8-in. reserve tube holds more fluid for improved performance (most applications).
  • EXCEPTIONAL HANDLING: 10-Stage valving tuned to each vehicle adjusts to road extremes; larger 1-3/4-in. bore provides more efficient damping and a smooth ride (most applications).
  • STRONG AND DURABLE: Shouldered and bonded bushings with sleeve protect from bushing walkout; arc welds up to 360° for durability.
