SKU:
IPA9107B

Description:

The Electric Brake Force Meter (3rd Gen) is an all-in-one tool for testing vehicle tow circuits and brake systems without a trailer. It simulates dynamic trailer loads to verify proper function of brake controllers and towing lights. The 25-ft cable allows for easy, one-person, in-cab testing. This device checks truck-side brake controller output, tail lights, turn signals, 12V+, reverse, and ground conditions, ensuring all towing-light functions work correctly.

Features and Benefits:

  • Simulates trailer brakes so tow vehicles can be tested without a trailer.
  • Patented technology works with all integrated and aftermarket brake controllers for accurate diagnostics.
  • Tests all lighting circuits and electric brake systems to detect wiring faults and connection issues.
  • Includes a 25-ft cord for solo operation and test-drive functionality.
  • Comes with a soft nylon case for easy storage and transport.

Tested and compatible with a wide range of makes and models, including Ford (all models 2005–current, F-150, Super Duty F250/F350/F450/F550/F600, Expedition, Transit, Maverick, Ranger), GM (all models 2007–current, Chevrolet Silverado/Tahoe/Colorado, GMC Sierra/Yukon/Yukon XL/Canyon), Ram (2015–current, Dodge/Ram 1500–5500, Jeep Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer), and Toyota Tundra (2016–current).
