Arctic Fox Hydra Liner tank warmers utilize engine coolant to warm fuel or fluids to the optimum operating temperature in cold weather. The Arctic Fox stainless steel heating element is mounted into a tank and typically plumbed into the vehicle glycol loop. As the antifreeze is heated and circulated by normal engine operation or by a Webasto coolant heater, the glycol circulating through the element causes the fluid in the tank to be heated. Although Arctic Fox tank warmers can be uséd with virtually any fluid, they are not intended for use with hazardous materials.
Tank heaters help reduce start-up emissions, prevent fuel gelling, increase productivity by having warm fluids available at start up to deliver maximum machine cycle times.
