The Monroe® Magnum® Rear and Front Suspension Shock Absorber for transit buses delivers a firm, controlled ride for greater stability and increased driver and passenger comfort. Magnum transit bus shocks are designed to meet or exceed demanding OE manufacturer specifications.

Engineered for high mileage and severe use transit bus and school bus operations, this multi-position Magnum shock covers Blue Bird All American and Gillig school bus platforms, backed by Monroe's 90-day Risk Free Ride Offer and Limited Commercial Warranty.

  • For Hardworking Transit Buses: Designed to handle the demands of high mileage and severe use transit buses.
  • Consistent Ride: All-weather fluid with special additives handles extreme temperatures; larger 2-3/4-in. reserve tube holds more fluid (when required).
  • Exceptional Handling: 10-Stage valving tuned per vehicle; larger 1-3/4-in. bore allows valve fine-tuning by allowing more hydraulic fluid to dissipate heat for better control.
  • Strong and Durable: Shouldered and bonded bushing with sleeve prevents bushing walkout; arc welds up to 360° for durability.
  • Built to Last: Hydraulic lock-out prevents over-extension of air bags and protects the seal assembly (when required).
