The Monroe® Magnum® Rear and Front Suspension Shock Absorber for transit buses delivers a firm, controlled ride for greater stability and increased driver and passenger comfort. Magnum transit bus shocks are designed to meet or exceed demanding OE manufacturer specifications.

A multi-position transit bus Magnum shock covering International F5070 series, Thomas School Bus, and Prevost coach platforms, backed by Monroe's 90-day Risk Free Ride Offer and Limited Commercial Warranty.

  • For Hardworking Transit Buses: Designed to handle the demands of high mileage and severe use transit buses.
  • Consistent Ride: All-weather fluid with special additives handles extreme temperatures; larger 2-3/4-in. reserve tube holds more fluid (when required).
  • Exceptional Handling: 10-Stage valving tuned per vehicle; larger 1-3/4-in. bore allows valve fine-tuning by allowing more hydraulic fluid to dissipate heat for better control.
  • Strong and Durable: Shouldered and bonded bushing with sleeve prevents bushing walkout; arc welds up to 360° for durability.
